Hey. This David Rubenfeld from New Jersey. I was attracted to Sam Ovens' Consulting Accelerator program. Firstly, because I want my financial destiny to be within my own control. This is really important to me. What I mean by this is oppositely, what I really don't want is to be a victim at the mercy of a boss or an authority figure of some kind who I entrust my future to who dictates my working life, but they have no reason to have my best interest at heart.
Secondly, I like how Sam Ovens emphasizes the importance of charging money for the value of your services. Charging money for value, as opposed to charging money for your time or your hours of wage slavery or the difficulty of the work. I think that's all nonsense and I really think Sam shows you the right way to do it.
Number three, I found the program to be very effective and I think Sam's style of teaching is very simple, quite straightforward and direct and result oriented. I feel like my time and energy in going through the program has been very respected and valued. I really like that in contrast to a lot of other programs.
Last, I just want to say that wherever you are in life, you're going to be pursing goals that are outside your comfort zone and the right choice, the best choice, is to use and leverage to your advantage the experience and insight of people who have already achieved success to a marked degree, right? Mentors and elders who've come before you and you can learn from their experiences, both their successes and their mistakes. I think that's really important and for me, that's the way I want to do it.
