Hey guys, London Hicks here, out in Nashville, just wanted to take a quick second and give you guys an idea of my experiences of working with Sam Ovens. So just to paint the picture for you, I started working with Sam maybe about a year ago, I bought the course and, a little bit more background information, I was in my first job right out of business school, I just spent a lot of time and money going to school, and one of the things I learned after going through school was that they don't necessarily teach you how to build your own business, or business school at least doesn't teach you how to create your own, they teach you how to step into something, how to manage something.
But I knew that I wanted to create my own business, I knew I wanted to do something for myself, create something for myself, I just didn't know exactly how I was going to do it, or what it was going to look like. And so even through undergrad and through business school, I was doing one-off consulting jobs with people, writing press releases, news pitches, helping them with different business ideas, things like that. So when I saw Sam's course, I thought it was speaking directly to me, it's like this is exactly what I need to be doing. So I really didn't even think twice about the course, and that's when I started realizing how much work was actually going to be needed to put into this. It actually took me - I had to take a break from it because I wasn't able to dedicate as much time as I needed to to actually be good at it. But then once I was able to actually fully dedicate myself and be diligent with all the work and the tools and resources I needed to actually achieve everything I wanted to, that's when I started seeing success.
Fast forward to today, I actually now have three clients that I'm working with. Sam, what he really did was open my eyes to the step by step process of how to start from scratch, not even know what I was going to offer these people, but be able to position myself as a content expert, and to structure my business the way he has and to be successful at it. Ultimately, this has been great, at first I was even scared what to charge, I was nervous, didn't know what to charge people, but now I'm able to confidently go out and ask for a thousand dollar, fifteen hundred dollar, two thousand dollar consultant projects, and ultimately keeping these guys on as lifetime clients. So thank you so much, Sam Ovens, and this has been a great experience for me.
