Hi my name is Russ Beldoor I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I've just kind of been working with the program a little bit. It's been interesting and quite an adventure. So my background is primarily as a chief financial officer Human Resources and what I'm going to be doing is working with companies and doing some planning and getting them to a point where they can do a complete turn around, do some strategic business planning with them, and setting up KPIs and such. A little background on me, about a year and a half ago I lost my wife to cancer and took some time off work, I actually left my job as CFO for a recycling company and in that was deciding whether to continue in the corporate America or do consulting work and I decided that consulting was probably a good avenue to take. Being a native Utah man, I'm familiar with the business climate here which is a little different than other parts of the country. People here tend to hold on to the money quite tightly and a lot of people would rather lose their business than hire a consultant to help turn things around, so going in and convincing them to spend some money on a consultant that can help turn things around and get the business back going is my primary focus. My approach would be to work with them for a year, so the first couple of weeks would be very intense as we ste out to do strategic business aligning, and then every quarter go in and check with them and see how they are doing. So Sam's program has been instrumental in helping to outlay on how to do this. You know, it's kind of a different thing to go from having a biweekly paycheck to being on your own and doing project based work. So looking forward to doing the Accelerator program, this new version, and checking in from time to time to see how progress is going.
