How are doing? My name is Eric Scott and I'm giving a testimony for Sam Ovens' Consulting Accelerator program. The reason I'm doing that is about a year ago I started a marketing agency to help local businesses promote and market their business. I ended up earning about $40,000 my first year of doing that. The cool thing about that, for me, was that I went from an idea about a skill set that I thought I had and could offer to other people and actually turned that into an income of $40,000. While that was great, because I hadn't ever done that before, the problem that I discovered along the way was I really created a lot of problems for myself because I had absolutely no blueprint whatsoever. I just had an idea; I went out and started acting on that.
The challenges that I started noticing and started experiencing was, really, I had no systems so I couldn't proactively go out and get new business when I wanted it. The other side of that problem was that as business opportunities came, I was all over the place. I was in one niche helping one person and then another person had another need and I would help that person. I'm really having to restart my business over every time that process happened. Then, I also was offering way too many services. I was doing website creation and then videos and then pay-per-click advertising, which is kind of where I've settled at this point in time. The process, for me, was I discovered that I really didn't have a business. It didn't matter really what the income was, I didn't have a true business that I could scale and that I could replicate and duplicate on a daily or weekly basis.
I had come across Sam's program; I had seen him online. Ended up purchasing the program because I thought what it could do for me was it could help systematize my process and actually give me one. As I got into the course, that's what I discovered, is that it really ... He does a great job laying out A to Z how to start and how to build every process that you need to have in place, so that you can be systematized and you can help the clients that you're trying to serve. The great thing for me was I am now at a point now where I've determined my niche. I've been building out the process to serve that niche and I'm almost done with my video, in fact, for them right now and I'll be completing that later today. But, the biggest, I think, hope for me now is I know I can control my schedule. I know everything that I do is systematized in terms of creating new business, in serving that business, and having a sales process that I can actually walk people through the same process every time. That's one of the biggest values that I've gotten out of the program.
The community has been great. Being able to reach out and work with people at all levels from there. There's success stories all the time from people just starting out, getting their first client, to people like myself who maybe have a little bit of experience, and then there's really advanced people that are kind of what he calls "ringing the bell" all the time. Here's the thing, if you're on the fence or if you're thinking about getting access to the program, I cannot highly recommend it any more or any better than to look at it as investing in yourself. Take that step; invest in yourself. Everything really is covered A to Z. For me, the cool thing that ... Where I'm at now is, my goal is to turn my first year annual income into monthly income. I have complete confidence that I'll be able to do that now because I have systems in place, sales process, and everything else that comes with that.
