Before joining Sam's program, I really found myself chasing my clients and trying to build the next great thing, and working long, long hours and putting time into things that weren't really giving me any return at all. They were really costing me time and money, and I just couldn't understand it. I'm talking two decades of this. Then as I went through the process of Sam's program, I began to understand what the client really wanted and what they needed and why they needed it, and how that was important to creating something that was really truly marketable and truly life-changing, not for just me but for the client. Understanding the client needs was huge.
After I got through that, I began to find myself, as I talked to the clients, being able to connect to them on a level that otherwise I couldn't do. I was talking outside of their realm of importance. Now I have the clients talking to me, and asking questions of me, and drawing from me what they need and what they want. That becomes a real powerful tool in your arsenal. Sam has really got a great hold on understanding the market and the marketing and the client, and those are so key and so important.
