Chris has used the Consulting Accelerator course to improve his sales skills and Facebook advertising. He is working on specializing and bringing tons of value to his target market.


Hey. My name is Chris Evans. I'm from Perth in Western Australia. Life before Consulting Accelerator Program, well, I just left my job and I was looking for some pathway into digital marketing. I decided that's where I was going to go. Sam popped up. He mentioned that he had this program which would help me to acquire clients. And I looked into his background. He was a digital marketer, so I thought, "He's going to give me some skills, which I could then apply to my business, help me get some clients, and then take my knowledge and apply it to my clients, and then multiply that effect." During the process of going through the Consulting Accelerator Program, I did need to work still, so I did get a job. I worked on that for about a month, and then essentially went full time with the consulting, so I'd done the course. I'd ran some ads, probably the most successful ads, but they did get some traction. I got some inquiries, I pick some leads up from it. I spent a bit of money, actually working on that to identify what works and what doesn't. Basically the process for me was learning the Facebook marketing and advertising, and then essentially applying the skills of the of the saddle script which has been given to us in the program. I apply that to my inquiries which I got, through various methods. There's a lot of methods that are given out in the program. Some which I've used and have been effective and some which haven't been so effective. But I think it is really up to personal style. So after working with this program, basically it's taken about six to eight months to find a niche which I am going to be profitable in. The first niche which I picked was very competitive, so I think a bit of research is involved in the actual competition in the market, who's established in is expected to go in any market, and dominate it. So you so need to pick a niche which is going to to be, I guess, under serviced, and also has opportunities for you personally. So you need to be actually bring some value to that market. And that's what I've figured out and I've gone back to something which I've worked in previously, and I'm consulting digital marketing to that niche. The program, I would recommend it to people who are in a position, where they've got some free time to learn the skills. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who has actually just jumped out of a job, they've got limited savings and they're going to then apply these methods to build a business. I think you need to be in the sort of mind set where you can be a little bit relaxed about it, because you're going to make some mistakes. So I'd say yes, I'd recommend it to someone who is keen to fire us their business, but they've still got some income on the side. And no, I wouldn't recommend it for someone who only has $3,000 in savings, and they expect to make a the next day, and then pay to be able to live. Okay, that's it. Thanks for listening.
