Hi, my name is Daniel Lei. I am a student of Sam Ovens. I've been in his consulting program for about 3 or 4 months now. Prior to the program I actually was already doing marketing consulting for small businesses, but I had found that after doing kind of a free-for-all, all industries, all services kind of system, it was becoming a little overwhelming and it was hard to scale that way.
So instead of having a taxi client, a roofing client, and a tree care client, and a plumbing client and between those different clients doing AdWords, or doing SEO, or doing Facebook leads, or doing different services for over a dozen different industries, it got hard to keep track of where results were really happening for different types of clients. So what I've found that was very valuable in Sam's course was that he taught the idea of niching down to one service and one niche, and really specializing in that field. So from that program over the last few months I've accumulated 4 different clients in one industry. With one sort of business it's lot easier to scale this way, to the tune of $15 thousand in sales all within one week of really implementing the strategies that I've learnt.
It took a little while to really apply what we learned but once things started really hitting it's groove, everything really started to hit the ground running. I'm excited about 2017 because of what Sam's been able to offer our company. I couldn't be happier with the program.
