My name Justin Messina from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Before the Consulting Accelerator I was living in Rhode Island with my parents. And I just took everything in a car and I moved down to Florida, I'm like, "I'm going to take this coaching thing on, I'm going to do it."
After years of, I was like, "I want to be a health coach, a life coach," I'd go up to people on the street and I'd tell them, "Yeah, I'm a life coach," and they'd either say, "Oh, life coach, okay, I know what that is." Or, they'd say, "Life coach? What is that? How can you help me?" Because it was always ... That was the problem, right? People didn't know how I could help them, or if I could help them. Or they would say, "Life coaching, I already know what that is," and they'd just dismiss me.
What I got during the Accelerator is, I got a clear message, and I got clarify for myself of what I do. I was forced to go through the activities of how do you approach people and what is your program, and these things that help to me understand for myself what it is, to the point where I could articulate to people what exactly I do. Very clear communication, to the point where since the Accelerator, I got my first client. My first paying client. And more people come up to me naturally and ask me, "Hey, I'm interested in what you do. How can we maybe work together?" Rather than me just kind of pushing and grinding all day long.
So lots of clarity and lots of direction with this program. And I even got mindset stuff out of this program. I'm a mindset coach, so that was kind of shocking. I was able to identify different pitfalls of different things that people typically do when they go through trying to be a coach, or trying to be a consultant, and the pitfalls that we have on a day-to-day basis.
So that's what I really got out of the program.
