Christopher used the program to shoot his first feature and improve his negotiation skills to help with the work he does.

... Hello. My name's Christopher Morrison. I'm from Brussels, Belgium. Yeah, my experience with Consulting Accelerator program might be a little different than most people's because I use it for different thing or maybe for a different ... Hi guys. This is Christopher Morrison. I'm in Brussels, Belgium, but I'm originally from the United States, but I live and work here now. Yeah, the Consulting Accelerator program, it's really interesting for me. You see, I may be a little different than the common user. I'm actually in the entertainment business. I've been in the entertainment world for 25 plus years in live theater and in films and television work. I'm a freelancer these days. I'm a writer and director in the film and TV world, but I still do direct theater and I still occasionally perform. My performance career, live events ... For example, I went on tour with Cirque de Soleil in 2006, blah, blah, blah. Whatever. Occasionally I also cross over into the corporate world because I also do some corporate teaching work, whether that's presentation skills, corporate storytelling, some diversity and inclusion training and things like that. So I picked up the Consulting Accelerator program because I was really interested in getting better at my selling skills and also my ability to negotiate because my whole career has been nothing but a constant negotiation with other artists, with theater companies, with production companies, with actors, with other directors, producers, all these people. It's a constant negotiation. So I really wanted to get better at those skills and so I picked up for the program for that particular information. So during the program, the thing that did end up surprising me the most outside ... because I really wanted to get better at selling, but the thing that surprised me the most was the real laser focus in the first couple of weeks about defining what it is you do, and that really helped me out. It really clarified my world a little bit and what I had to offer in my crazy, artistic world and then crazy, artistic life. So that was really groovy. After the program, I can definitely say that it helped me very much helped me in my negotiation work, clearly with ... I just finished shooting my first feature film here in Brussels. It's a low-budget feature and getting people to work on that project, not only being able to sell them on the passion of that project but getting them to work for something that we could bring, get as high level artists as we could for frankly what was a little less money than they deserve, and some of the skills that I learned in the Consulting Accelerator really helped me with that. So yeah, I definitely have gotten better at negotiating. My sales skills, I really now have a way to approach every single call or in-person meeting, and it's a real A equals B equation here. I wouldn't have this new skill set without Consulting Accelerator. So yeah, no I would definitely recommend it for people. Again, I might be using it in a slightly different world than most, but definitely improved my skill set, so thanks, and hope this is helpful. Cheers.
